Our Libraries During March
By @ 11:25 a.m. :: 238 Views

Our theme for March is study and research and we have dedicated and helpful staff able to offer guidance on finding the best resources for that project or assignment. Students of all ages can support their learning with items from bookinopolis and we can also interloans items from other libraries and databases.

On a completely different tack – for many people the library of today must seem vastly different from the places they remember in years past.  Although technology and computers have changed the outward face of libraries the sense of community and familiarity of purpose are still evident in the small things that happen around the library – a random act of kindness in anonymously paying for someone’s $4.00 hot pick; helping to carry a particularly heavy load; telling someone about a good book you’ve read; or simply sharing a story with the person standing next to you.
